THE AIDS MEMORIAL SCULPTURE IN PARIS

The AIDS MEMORIAL SCULPTURE in Paris is located along the Seine, the main river that winds its way through the city. The memorial is particularly becoming in this area, as it is flanked by other monuments, most noticeably the Eiffel Tower. Nevertheless, this site is about a five minute walk away from this major tourist attraction, and therefore does not receive the masses of tourists that visit the famous tower. Only those residents of the city and those visitors who are a little more leisurely and not too hurried, those who can enjoy a nice walk along this river visit the AIDS Memorial Sculpture. It is very fitting that the Sculpture be next to the river: as friends and relatives come and go we find solace in nature and its perennial cycle. This area is easily accessible by foot, car or subway and has benches along the riverside.

You too might enjoy coming here. This might be the place to live through intense moments of joy, love, anger, pain, sorrow, mourning and again joy and love...

This sculpture only exists in my dreams and in virtual reality... but anything is possible... and maybe you can help make the sculpture become a reality! Share your thoughts:or return to the main page.
